ENSP Next: Youth Contest
Towards a tobacco-free generation
A while ago, ENSP invited young individuals, members of youth and student associations and youth advocacy groups from the WHO European region to participate in the ENSP Youth group contest. The purpose of this contest was to inspire young people to get in action, raise their voice against the targeted tactics of the tobacco industry, break the chain, refuse to become the next generation of smokers and novel tobacco product users in Europe and claim a tobacco-free future for them and the generations to come. |

During the past month, we have conducted the second phase of the contest, which was the online voting and today, the contest has finally come to an end. We are excited to announce the winners and their prizes. |
After the phase of social media voting, which accounts for 50% of the final score of each participant, the ENSP Youth Group Campaign committee evaluated and rated the materials (50% of the final score) in terms of their creativity, message and content. The 2 scores were summed up to define the winners of the competition. The jurry struggled selecting the winner among such original and worthy materials submitted for the contest. |

Therefore, due to high quality of videos participating in the contest, ENSP is pleased to award a prize to each of the finalists in this category. Although the posters received a lower score in comparison, we decided to award their authors with an invitation to the ENSP Conference (ENSP-ECTC) in 2021.*
* Please find on our website the detailed evaluation for each project. Conference invitation covers registration fee and travel expenses for 1 participant. |
Enjoy the finalists' projects!
